Back by popular demand . . . Saturday evening will usher in America’s Only Professional Rock and Roll Orchestra! Rockestra, a 40-piece ensemble made up of incredible local Siouxland musicians will knock off your flip flops. Covering everything from 70s rock to Hollywood Hits, they are sure to be a crowd pleaser. Keep in mind that 5 pm. Saturday night is the only Rockestra festival performance!

Take a journey through time and experience a great contribution to American music. The Divas feature music made famous by Patsy Cline, Diana Ross and the Supremes, Tina Turner, Donna Summer, Gloria Estefan, Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Barbara Mandrell, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, and more. With show-stopping choreography, electrifying vocals, and highly-styled costumes, this show is a must see!

Led by Grammy and Latin Grammy-nominated Cuban pianist/vocalist, Viviana Pintado and international Cuban conga player Frank Rivery, SALSABROSA leaves a "Havana Hot" buzz wherever it plays. The explosive Afro-Cuban rhythms, mesmerizing vocal harmonies, and riveting horn solos make audiences want

to get up and dance. SALSABROSA brings its "Cuban Carnaval" to ArtSplash for the first time this year and its performance will definitely be a powerful celebration of the marvelous and diverse community that Siouxland has become.

 

TALENT SPLASH

American Idol has nothing on TalentSplash—a talent competition that brings the area’s most talented singers, dancers, and musicians to our main stage. The competition will be fierce for outstanding first, second and third place cash prizes sponsored by Casey’s General Store. TalentSplash is also sponsored, in part, and produced by our very own Sioux City Community Theatre. Want to get in on the act? Get your group together or break out with a solo career.

And don’t think the fun stops on the Main Stage . . . Strolling musicians, balloon sculptors, clowns and the Desert Angels Belly Dance Troupe from the Yoga College, will be entertaining folks throughout the festival grounds! Come check out the quiet shade of the Children’s Loft for theatre groups, storytellers, musicians and Comedy Superhero The Amazing Arthur. A "Second City"-trained comedian, the Amazing Arthur has a bag full of trick sure to charm audiences of all ages.
