Larry Schwarm
Larry Schwarm was born in Greensburg, Kansas, in 1944. He is a professor of art at Emporia State University and has photographed the burning of tallgrass prairie in Kansas for over twelve years. He won the 2003 The Center for Documentary Studies/Honickman First Book Prize in Photography that presented his photographs in a collection. On Fire, the resulting book, was published by Duke University Press and the Center for Documentary Studies.
