Liz MillerLiz Miller was trained as a painter. She received a BFA in painting from the Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, Rhode Island in 1999; followed in 2005 with an MFA in painting and drawing from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She lives in Good Thunder, Minnesota, and teaches drawing at the Minnesota State University-Mankato. She has exhibited at the Soap Factory and the Soo Visual Arts Center, both in Minneapolis, Minnesota; the Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art in Fort Collins, Colorado; the Bloomington Art Center in Bloomington, Minnesota; Mercer Union in New York; and the FieldGate Gallery in London, England. In 2007, she was a visiting artist at the Bemis Center in Omaha, Nebraska, and received a 2007 MCAD/Jerome Foundation Fellowship. |
