March is Youth Art Month

In keeping with the mission of the Art Center, every year the Education Department plans special activities to involve the community in art appreciation and creation. March is designated as Youth Art Month to proclaim the importance of art in education. An exhibition of high school level art work will be featured at this year's Youth Art Month show.  The juried exhibition, running from February 27- April 18, 2010,  is sponsored by the Art Center to remind us all that art is a necessity for the full development of the youth of our country.
