	Students will explore different clay and glazing techniques while using various hand-building methods: coil, slab, and pinch techniques. The student will participate in interesting clay projects such as modeling animal sculptures, carving portrait masks, building scaled-down forts and houses, and creating functional bowls and pots. #Y 02 Mark Your Mark - The Art of Drawing

	Using pencil, charcoal, conte’ crayon, pen and ink, learn basic techniques and elements of composition, line variations, and value, in an encouraging environment. A must for the budding artist! Click here to Become a Member and SAVE 20% on classes!

#Y 03 Saturday Art Lesson

Saturdays \| 10:30 am – 12:00 noon \| Studio 203

	Each Saturday Art Lesson begins at 10:30 am sharp! Students will work in a variety of media, including painting with acrylics, drawing with pastels, printing with inks, molding with clay and sculpting in plaster, wire, or wood. Artwork will be sent home at the end of each class. No pre-registration is expected…pay as you go…come on the Saturdays you can. Bring your friends! Dress to be messy. If children 5 years and younger participate, an adult should accompany the child and assist with making the project. (Tuition: $5 per child each Saturday)

	Enjoy a Sunday afternoon of fun as you and your youngster(s) create amazing art together! Explore and experiment with a variety of art techniques and projects. Choose to do one, two or more arts and craft projects each Sunday. Children of every age accompanied by an adult are welcome. Don’t miss the fun! Bring your friends! Leave the art-making mess to us! Pay as you play. No pre-registration required. (Tuition: $5 per project)
